- [i-immersive](https://gearedapp.co.uk/case-studies/i-immersive): i-immersive ran ClassView, a virtual classroom platform used by roughly 10,000 people across 90 organisations. But the legacy stack was holding the business back: live teaching sessions were being disrupted, customers expected more from the product, and mainstream tools such as Teams and Zoom were raising the bar for video collaboration.
- [West Lothian Council](https://gearedapp.co.uk/case-studies/west-lothian-council): West Lothian Council needed to modernise how families navigated Early Learning and Childcare (ELC) and school admissions, and how placement teams managed applications, entitlement, capacity and appeals. The existing process relied heavily on spreadsheets, email and staff knowledge; effective in the hands of experienced teams, but increasingly difficult to scale, audit and adapt as policy and service needs changed.
- [Stamp Free](https://gearedapp.co.uk/case-studies/stamp-free): Stamp Free set out to replace physical postage with unique codes (Digicodes) that carriers could scan from anywhere on the parcel. The build needed to handle code generation at scale, computer-vision recognition of handwritten codes, and a partner-facing dashboard, all within the runway window.
- [SanoMedSolutions](https://gearedapp.co.uk/case-studies/sanomed): SanoMedSolutions needed to standardise medication-safety decisions for safety-critical rail roles, where a single inquiry could otherwise take over an hour over email with no audit trail. The platform had to be fast, GDPR-compliant, and stay clear of medical-device regulation.
- [Prepmate](https://gearedapp.co.uk/case-studies/prepmate): The Scottish Pantry Network set out to make it easier for people experiencing food insecurity to access meal kit support, while giving frontline workers and pantry teams a clearer way to manage referrals, collections and reporting. The constraint was accessibility. Many users would not have a smartphone, an email address or the confidence for a multi-step app journey, so the service had to work end-to-end through SMS-led communication.
- [Buzzjar](https://gearedapp.co.uk/case-studies/buzzjar): Buzzjar wanted to create a more trusted alternative to traditional review platforms: a social product where people could share genuine recommendations for experiences, products and places, while being rewarded for authentic advocacy. The challenge was proving whether that recommendation-and-reward loop could work as a focused MVP. The product needed to feel credible for users, useful for brands and simple enough to test without overbuilding a full social network too early.

Their existing database held everything but the navigation friction made it hard to surface the right tool in a sales conversation, especially with non-specialist external partners.
- [Dufrain](https://gearedapp.co.uk/case-studies/dufrain): Dufrain delivers data engineering and consultancy at enterprise scale, but the underlying tooling was opaque to non-data-team end users. We embedded as the front-end and design partner so Dufrain's domain experts could ship product without context-switching.
- [My Executor Box](https://gearedapp.co.uk/case-studies/my-executor-box): My Executor Box came to us with a problem most families never plan for: where the documents that matter end up when someone dies. They needed a secure, structured way for users to capture, organise, and hand off estate-planning information to nominated executors.
- [Raven Controls](https://gearedapp.co.uk/case-studies/raven-controls): Raven Controls runs the operational backbone behind some of the world's biggest events: logging, monitoring, and responding to incidents in real time. Their existing web platform served control-room staff, but ground teams needed a mobile interface, and the dashboard data was not holding up under high-volume incident scenarios.
